Meet Dr. Fravel

Dr. Fravel is a graduate from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Fravel entered the United States Navy where he delivered comprehensive dental care to Navy sailors, Marines and their families living in Okinawa, Japan. While stationed in Japan, Dr. Fravel received a certificate from an Advanced General Dentistry Program and gained acceptance to the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry Graduate Endodontic Program.

During his residency, Dr. Fravel developed and conducted a clinical trial that investigated the effective management of post-treatment discomfort and received his Masters of Science Degree and Endodontic certificate. He continued his military service in San Diego where he served the sailors from Naval Air Station North Island, the USS Ronald Reagan, and the Navy Seal community from NAB.  He also served as a mentor and lecturer for residents in the Naval Medical Center General Practice Residency program while maintaining a part- time private practice in Clairemont, California.

Having lived in the St. Croix River Valley for the majority of his life prior to his military career, Dr. Fravel has happily returned to Hudson, Wisconsin where he lives with his wife and three children.
